The Calm, Sitting Dog
Did you know a dog can be taught to relax so they can wait calmly for instruction? It’s true! This remarkable class is meant for dogs who just can’t seem to sit still, or for anyone who wants to teach their dog to be calm and at the ready. Learn techniques that will calm your dog and make waiting a rewarding experience. This premise is threaded through each of our classes but can be taken as this private lesson and supported with tutoring for those dogs whose exuberance for life just seems to get the better of them. Removing the antsy behavior without the joi de vivre is our specialty.
“All good things come to the calm sitting dog.”

Social Etiquette (included in Basic Obedience and Companionship Skills)
Want a well-behaved dog both at home and in public? We take a “Miss Manners” approach for the canine in a human world. Every class has a component of proper social behavior threaded throughout, or you and your canine can take private lessons on canine comportment.
The Confident Dog Within (Confidence Builders)
Is your dog fearful, shy, or otherwise lacking in confidence? Does she have an injury, physical or emotional challenge that makes her unable to participate at the same pace as other dogs in class?
Created by TCCTB trainers as a way to ensure that all dogs and their owners have an outlet for fun, this class is ideal for the dog who needs to build confidence or who has found it difficult to fully participate in other training classes because of severe arthritis, missing limbs or eyes, balance disorders, past joint injuries, or any other disability that would make agility or other active classes too dangerous or intimidating. We maintain a calm and encouraging atmosphere and customize each class to meet the needs of the participants.
